"Health, Healing and Well-Being is a practice for anyone who wants to prevent chronic conditions, heal from unhealthy/unproductive emotional patterns and live a richer, more meaningful life."
~ Lizette Ayala Health Educator, Therapeutic Movement Instructor, Health & Well-Being Coach
Sensory integration exercises from the framework of The Body Rules Method are designed to create emotional and physical balance and well-being. They invite us to understand our body's reaction to chronic stress, that physical tension that halts digestion, speeds up the heart rate unnecessarily, and makes it difficult to consider thoughtful words and actions. Mind-body therapies also remind us that we are more than our struggles. We are, in fact, part of an evolving community and planet, and everyone's energy matters! We forget that in the presence of chronic stress and physical and emotional dis-ease. We also forget that we can manage our emotional state, that part that nourishes all other parts of our world. My own struggles with eating disorders, panic attacks and other unhealthy and unproductive patterns taught me how to practice self-care during the most difficult times. Now I work with people with PTSD, weight/food/body image challenges, unresolved grief, relationship struggles, and other energy-draining patterns to help bring healing and well-being during the times most needed. This mind-body system will help you make optimal health, vitality and well-being accessible and sustainable.
The Body Rules Method is a thoughtful self-care system that allows one to take charge of stress patterns that interfere with quality of life. This program employs effective, practical emotional healing strategies to identify energy-draining triggers and adopt healthier routines and habits. Designed by Lizette Ayala, with over 15 years experience in the healing and movement arts, the Body Rules Method delivers a series of healing practices and meditation techniques that are practical and sustainable.
